It's important to note that
FAU-G
is not meant to replace PUBG, which got banned along with other
Chinese-connected apps by the Indian government but then again got
reintroduced as BGMI (Battle Ground Mobile India).
While both are multiplayer action games targeting the Indian gaming community,
FAU-G is not a response to the PUBG ban. Unlike PUBG, FAU-G is not a battle
royale game where players search for weapons and fight each other.
Instead, it focuses on major military events, with the first episode
highlighting the recent clash with the Chinese army at Galwan Valley in
Ladakh. In FAU-G, players experience third-person gameplay that evolves into a
broader and wider perspective. There's a unique twist—there are no enemies to
act against.
Other players become your comrades, and battles involve brawler machines,
melee weapons, and exploration using guided maps. This approach is influenced
by a 1996 agreement between India and China, which prohibits carrying guns or
explosives within two kilometers of the Line of Actual Control.
